Mini Cruiser's are too much fun
What are Mini Cruisers? Most Mini Cruisers are skateboards that are between 7" and 7.5" wide and 24" to 29" long . I have 4 different Mini Cruisers and I always let everyone try them out at the sk8park and everyone always has a smile on their face when they ride the board. There are a few companies who are selling Mini Cruisers and here are I few that I have skated.
The Zip Zinger will really carve. Get a Zip Zinger and surf some concrete

Skateboard Bushings make all the difference
When setting up a quiver of skateboards, bushings make a huge difference in the ride of each board. The old guys usually like to ride loose trucks , and most of the groms like the trucks tight for the street. Since I ride multiple boards, my bushings in each board have a different hardness. These are a few examples of my setups
- Freestyle board--- (Tracker Trucks only) Tracker green hard bushings-- my freestyle boards all have tight trucks
- New school deck--- (Indy's and Trackers) hard bushings in the rear and soft in front
- Old School deck--- (Indy's)hard black Indy bushing in rear and soft blue doh- doh in front
- 27" Mini Cruiser( Bennett Trucks) -- new clear soft Bennett Bushings in both trucks
- Longboard-- (Tracker Trucks only)--- Tracker black hour glass bushings , front and rear
- Downhill board-- Randal Trucks-- Randal stock bushings front and rear
- Slalom board--- Tracker Race Tracks only)--- Tracker black hour glass bushing front and rear, loose up front and slightly tight in the rear for stability (this deck also uses wedge risers)

Pic from 1988 demo From Jeff's skateboard page
Jeff sent me this classic pic of me and Ernie at the Dunbar WV in 1988. I don't remember being at this demo but as you can see in the pic of me doing the one wheeler, I was there. I was sporting my "Bono power mullett" hairstyle and riding my Tony Mag "Hell Concave" deck. (it will make your feet hurt). Thanks to Jeff at http://jeffsskateboardpage.blogspot.com/ for the classic pic

Ty Page Websight featuring Old School Freestyle
Ty Page was one of the best freestyle skateboarders in the 1970's and was nicknamed Mr Incredible. From his signature trick (the Ty Slide* see pic) to handstands, nose wheelies ,to jumping over MG's and Triumph sports cars, Ty did it all. Check out his sight at http://www.ty-page.com/ or his myspacepage at www.myspace.com/mrincredibletypage . The double board kickflip shown in the pic is a trick I have not seen done since the 70's. Check it out. Pics courtesy of http://www.ty-page.com/
