American Legend Evel Knievel Dies at 69

Evel Knievel was my hero when I was a kid. In the 1970's Evel Knievel jumped his Harley Davidson XR-750 motorcycle in front of huge crowds all over the world. Evel always wore red , white, and blue leathers and helmet. Evel's most famous jump was in 1968 when he attempted to leap over Ceasers Palace water fountain and ended in a crash that broke almost every bone in his body.
