Congratulations to Marc's Board Shop Team Rider Evan Tolley for his first place win in the junior class at the Downhillbillies Dixie Cup Slalom Race . The Dixie Cup is one of the biggest races in the USA and was held over the weekend Nov-2nd thru 4th in Statesville NC. The best slalom racers in the world attended this huge event. Way to go Evan!!

Congratulations to all the Huntington crew that represented Marc's Board Shop well. Everyone had their team garb on. Evan was fast and smooth and got some good encouragement from the Carrasco crew. Dave, Evan's dad, took 4th in his division (takin me out) and Lenny and Dave Harris made some super fast qualifying runs to put them in the next bracket with the fast boys. Lenny should be proud for brining up some good talent and they convinced me that practice does actually matter in this sport. Famous zboy Wentzle Ruml IV was racing and was a very cool guy. Thanks to Marc for all your help and support over the years. It is amazing that some thing I started doing when I was six still has me hooked somehow. 35 years, I should be way better! Dixie Cup report out.
